Dreaming of jewellery

Yesterday evening I found a Boodles catalogue and decided to draw some jewellery with ink and brush. One is a classic engagement ring (perhaps the stone isn't the go-to size) and one is a really cool emerald cut diamond. When you can't afford them, you can draw them!

I really like how you can go from really washy greys to dark blacks with ink.

Experimenting with ink

I've been trying out some different techniques with ink the past days. I absolutely love this medium but I always have to do several sketches before I'm happy with the result. What do you think about ink?
